About me

My name is Flora. Currently I’m a multimedia journalist working out of CBC Kitchener-Waterloo and Hamilton. I work in digital and radio mostly. Some days I will also film and edit a TOV for a multimedia piece.

Video is my favourite medium. Nothing compares to capturing the emotion I’ve drawn out of my subject and finding the best way to assemble that footage so it hits your heart just the right way.

I can’t say I remembered everything I learned for my BSc in biology, but I’m comfortable with reading scientific articles in academic journals. My areas of interest outside of health and science include education and social welfare.

If you would like to chat, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. You can send me an email or reach me via Twitter.
